Bucharest Rent a Car Contract Extras
To sign the contract you need an ID card a drive
license and a valid credit card.
The Client age must be at least 21 years old and
ust posses a valid driving license for at least 1
(one) year. If the above conditions are not met, a
suplimentary deposit is required, refundable upon the
return in good condition of the car, including all
documents, accessories and equipment.
The payment will be made in advance, at the exchange
rate provided by BNR (The National Bank of Romania )
for the day of the payment. Credit card payments are
also accepted, based on a 3% processing fee.
For a guaranteed reservation the customer will pay
in advance the cost for a renting-day. If the
reservation is canceled, the customer will lose this
money.
The "Warranty" deposit ( see in our price list
from Cars&Rates section )is refundable upon the return
in good condition of the car, including all documents,
accessories and equipment.
The "Warranty" deposit will be used for penalties
in case of ascertaining internal or external vehicle
damages , theft of auto parts , loss of car documents
(€100) or loss of vehicle keys .
The fuel is not included in the Contract price and
is the responsibility of the Client. The vehicle will
be delivered with the tank full of fuel. The fuel tank
must be full upon the return of the car. The possibly
missing fuel, stated by the fuel level indicator, will
be charged at a rate of 5 RON per liter. The
responsibility of oil and car maintenance rests with
the Owner.
The delivery and collection of the vehicle takes
place at the time, date and location asked by the
Client and mentioned in the Rental Contract, with no
supplementary costs within the limits of Bucharest
City . The vehicle may be delivered and collected in
other locations within Romania , based on the prior
approval of the Owner and an agreed tariff.
An announced delay of less than three hours will be
charged as a half renting day.A delay longer than
three hours will be charged as a full renting day. By
the end of the rental period the present Rental
Contract becomes null and void and, if is not
otherwise stated, the Owner reserves the right to
declare the vehicle as stolen to the police.
All the expenses that may be incurred as a result of
a traffic accident are covered by the insurance
policy, except deductibles of "Warranty"
deposit,paid by the client. The "Warranty" deposit
is specifcated in our Price List.
The report to police is mandatory in case of
accident. The police will ascertain the damages and
will issue a Report and the Repair Authorization.
These documents are indispensable for the insurance in
order to operate and to repair the vehicle. The report
to the police is mandatory in all cases: if the Client
is responsible for accident, if the Client is
casualty, if the Client is the only one involved, if
the responsible part is unknown (parking damages etc).
Without these documents the Client takes full
responsibility for the repairing costs.
